Fulfilling a nonprofit organization’s mission costs money. Effective nonprofits rely on grants as one component of their overall fundraising strategy. Researching and applying for grants, however, is quite time-consuming and requires specialized expertise. Working with Grants Galore will eliminate those challenges to grantseeking.

Kristin Olson, Grant Writing Specialist and Owner of Grants Galore, offers a full continuum of grant writing services for nonprofit organizations and governmental entities. Whether for a one-time project or for a series of projects, Kristin will customize her services to meet your expressed needs. Her level of involvement may vary from project to project, depending on what you need at that time.
Prospect Research
Effective grantseekers identify funding opportunities that align with the grantmakers’ funding guidelines AND with their organization’s funding needs. Kristin uses credible grant databases to identify potential private- and public-sector funding opportunities, based on search parameters you provide. She narrows the list of prospects and provides you with a detailed report of her findings, as well as a follow-up consultation to determine next steps.
Grant Qualification and Eligibility
If you find a grant opportunity you’re interested in, Kristin will review it to determine if you are eligible to apply. Upon request, she will send you a synopsis of the grant to help you discern if it is a good fit for your organization.
Grant Proposal Development
Kristin will work with you and your team to develop a competitive grant proposal that fully responds to the grant guidance. Typical tasks include researching statistics for the need statement, writing the narrative, completing forms, complying with formatting guidelines, developing or reviewing budgets, designing logic models, and preparing attachments for submission.
Project Management
For each project, Kristin develops a task list that includes internal deadlines to keep the grant team on track for a timely submission. She participates in, and, upon request, facilitates virtual team meetings as scheduled. She follows up with team members as needed.
